Susan Renae Fiebiger passed away surrounded by family and friends that loved her on March 23, 2025; in Florida at the age of 62.
She was born August 22, 1962 in Finley, North Dakota. Susan married her high school sweetheart in April 1984 and they had 2 children. They moved around the country (Idaho, Pennsylvania) before finally settling in Jupiter, Florida for the last 29 years. They still considered North Dakota home, summering on her family farm outside of Finley the last several years. She instilled her love of North Dakota into both of her children. She was known as being a strong Viking from her Norwegian Ancestry and courageously battled breast cancer for a decade.
Susan will be remembered as being a great organizer of people and things. She was remarked as being “the most organized person I’ve ever known” even to the end. She created a large neighborhood community around her that surrounded her into her final days. She was known for being a kind and giving person; always hosting parties and events for those she loved. It was especially important to Susan to be surrounded by family and friends for holidays and to ensure everyone was included. She loved the outdoors either through camping with friends and family, weekends on the boat, or maintaining a beautiful yard.
She was known as being a cornerstone at the JupiterFIRST Church Preschool, where she spent many years as the Preschool co-director and Music Teacher. She loved the kids and had great joy in instilling the love of music in the preschool children, teaching them new songs, performing concerts for holidays and graduations.
Susan leaves behind a loving family including her husband Steve, their son Stephen and daughter Cassandra (Jeff), her sister Barb, mother in-law Emmie, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
We invite all who knew and loved Susan to join us for a funeral service. Florida services will be held at the JupiterFIRST Church on April 12, 2025 at 2pm.
