Shirley Irene Stevens

Shirley Irene Stevens, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2026, surrounded by the love of her husband Richard and her son Charlie.

Shirley was born on January 11, 1955, to Lamar and Charlotte Moon in South Bend, Indiana. From the very beginning, Shirley shared a special bond with her identical twin sister, Sharon, and older sister Sue – a bond that remained an extraordinary and treasured part of her life.

In the late 1970s, Shirley moved to North Dakota, where she met the love of her life, Richard. Together, Shirley and Richard built a community. They built a successful business together in Page, North Dakota. Where they raised their two boys, Aaron and Charlie.

Shirley was the kind of person who made everyone feel cared for and welcome. She was kind, caring, generous, and always willing to help. She was the first to lend a hand when someone needed it and never hesitated to give her time, her heart, or whatever she could to help others. Her warm smile, generous spirit and genuine love for people made her a beloved member of the Page community and touched countless lives.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Shirley was a devoted wife to Richard and a moving mother to Aaron and Charlie. She was a proud, extremely involved, and loving grandmother to Brekyn and Emma, and she was eagerly looking forward to welcoming another precious grandson, due to be born in November. Though she will not be here to hold him in her arms, he will grow up knowing how deeply his grandmother loved him before he ever entered this world.

Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her family, the lives she touched, and the community she so dearly loved. Her absence will be deeply felt, but so will the countless memories of her kindness, laughter, generosity, and unwavering love. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
