Myron L. Anderson

August 21, 1950 — June 15, 2020

   Myron L. Anderson, 69 of Mayville, ND, died Monday June 15 at home.

   Myron was born in Mayville, ND, August 21, 1950 to Harry and Margaret Anderson of rural Clifford, ND.   Myron attended country school and Sunday school at Norman Lutheran Church in Clifford.

   The family moved to Mayville and Myron graduated from Mayville High School in 1969.  After graduation, Myron worked for Larry Domier’s farm near Clifford for a short time before being employed at Mayville State University for over 30 years.

   Myron became part of the Mayville State family and MSU was a very special place in his life. He attended sporting events, music and theater productions, scholarship fundraisers helping college students, military programs and support of the Edson and Margaret Larson Leadership and Alumni Center. Myron looked forward to the Farmers Bowl and Homecoming parades every fall season. He would park his car early to get a good view of parade participants and after would always say, “That’s a good parade”. Myron enjoyed spending time with siblings, nieces and nephews and looked forward to family gatherings.

   Survivors are his brother: Doug (Vonda) of Cavalier, ND; sisters: Sherri (Gerald) Didrikson of Grand Forks, ND, Peggy Erickson of West Fargo, ND and Vickie Haugen of Fargo, ND; nieces and nephews: Craig (Katie) Anderson of West Fargo; Matt (Molly) Emmett, Nolan Anderson all  of Maple Grove, MN,  Brian Haugen, Kim Haugen and Serenity, Kelly (Scott) Anderson, Brandon (Danielle) Bransyn all of Fargo, Blake Larson of Grand Forks and Tiffany Larson of Dallas, TX. 

   Myron is preceded in death by his parents: Harry and Margaret Anderson.

 Visitation:  Will be 5–7 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Mayville Lutheran Church in Mayville, ND.

Burial: Will be in the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, ND.
