Marlys Ann Gunderson

   Marlys Ann Gunderson, 73, of Grand Forks, ND formerly of Buxton died Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

   Marlys Ann Gunderson was born May 19, 1949 to Gustav and Gladys (Landa) Gunderson in Grand Forks, ND.  She grew up and lived most of her life in Buxton, ND until moving to Valley Senior Living on Columbia in 2022.

   Marlys enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching many of her favorite old television shows.  Marlys loved children and in her earlier years helped take care of many.  She also did home care and cooking.  She enjoyed keeping a journal and writing letters to friends.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

   She is survived by her mother: Gladys Gunderson, Grand Forks, ND, two sisters Gail Stein, Bismarck, ND, Sheryl (Dale) Hoyt, Grand Forks, ND

   She was preceded in death by her father, Gustav Gunderson, brother, Garry Gunderson, Brother-in-law Ken Stein, and grandparents.

   A private family graveside service will be held at Immanuel Cemetery of Buxton in the summer.
