LeRoy Frank Schroeder

   LeRoy F. Schroeder, age 90 originally of Thompson, ND passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND.

   LeRoy was born November 12, 1930 in Thompson, ND, the son of Fred and Lena (Nienas) Schroeder. He was raised and attended school in rural Thompson. He married Mae Lange of Reynolds, ND on October 26, 1951 in Emerado, ND. LeRoy served in the United States Army in Korea from 1951-1954. After serving in the army, he worked at several construction companies and later worked for the Army Corp of Engineers. LeRoy was a great builder including building churches in Texas for new migrant families. He was a member of the Holmes United Methodist Church of rural Reynolds, ND. In his early years, LeRoy loved playing soft ball at the Holmes community ballpark. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing and was always creating and building.

   LeRoy is survived by his wife Mae Schroeder, Mayville, ND: children Mike Schroeder (wife Rhea) of Davenport Fl; Gregory Schroeder of Kissimmee, FL; Randy Schroeder of San Francisco, CA; Loran Schroeder of Baxter, MN: Grandchildren Eryn, Bryann, Andrew and Jayce including one Great Grandson Nikko. He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Celebration of Life: Will be held Saturday November 20, 2021, at 2 PM at the Holmes United Methodist Church rural Reynolds, ND with visitation one hour before.

Burial: Will be at the Holmes Cemetery with Military Honors.

Due to the compromised immune systems of several of our attendees we are requiring that masks be worn inside the sanctuary.
