Jesse Miles Archambeau, 35, of Mayville, North Dakota, passed away at his home peacefully on July 10, 2025, after facing long-term medical challenges.
Jesse was born on June 28, 1990, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Angie Granheim and Steve Archambeau. He spent his early days in Bismarck, North Dakota, later moving to Mayville, North Dakota.
Jesse was lucky enough to be a twin; he was the youngest, and Jacob was the oldest. Jake and Jesse were always into mischief as children, and that followed through as they became adults. Jake and Jesse had a very special relationship with each other, built on love and a bond that most will never experience. They liked to tease each other about who was the grillmaster, and their connection was one unlike any most have seen before.
Jesse had a beautiful heart, was always the first to show up whenever someone needed help, needed their car worked on, or just needed a hug and a little pep talk. Some of Jesse's proudest days were when he was a volunteer with the Mayville Fire Department; he spoke of it often and remained close with many of its members.
Jesse is survived by his children, Mason and Axel, who were his pride and joy. His mom, Angie Granheim, his mom, Kelly Archambeau, and his Daddy-O, as he liked to call him, Mark Granheim. His twin brother Jacob (Courtney), his brothers Josh Raywalt, Jonathan (Ashlee) Raywalt, his sisters Ashton (Curtis) Rose, Mary Sebastian, and Karisa (Rob) Kemnitz Ross. His uncles, Doug (Wendy) Archambeau, Luke (Lori) Cook, and his aunt and Godmother, Karen (Steve) Nitschke. His grandparents, Charlie and Shirley Bundy, JD and Sue Stephenson, and David and Denice Cook. He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Austin,Caleb, Miles, Knox, and Oliver. He held much appreciation for the mother of his children, Danyel Renae.
Jesse was lucky enough to know love during his life, but especially from his fiancée, Jessica Ortiz. She was there with him until the very end, just as she promised him she would be. He loved her very much.
Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Steve Archambeau, his grandmother, Millie Archambeau, and his nephew Jax.
At the end of his days, Jesse was surrounded by people that he loved, and who loved him. His journey was one of peace and dignity. We thank you so much for all of the kindness, love, and prayers from all of you. Please always remember Jesse by his beautiful smile and big heart. He loved you all very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2:00 pm at the home of Kelly Archambeau. Out of respect for Jesse and his family, this will be a DRY celebration of life with NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED.
