Emily Fern Elliott

   Emily Fern Elliott, 72, of Fargo, ND passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND.

   Emily was born to the late Albert Holzkhamm and Violia Thompson on March 22, 1947 in Hillsboro, ND. Emily attended Hillsboro Public School. She later attended University of North Dakota getting a masters degree in Criminal Justice.

   Emily was a avid rock collector and a member of the Agassi Rock Club in Fargo. She enjoyed reading, trips to the casino, talking on the phone to friends and family. Her other passion was traveling, taking many trips to her beloved sister Rose Shea and best friend Diane Murphy in Washington. 

   Emily married Raymond Elliott in 1965; he passed away in 2008. Together they raised three children: Gwendolyn (Chris) Krueger, Charles Elliott and Robert (Francesca) Elliott. Emily lived most of her life in North Dakota but also in Minnesota and Georgia. Emily later in life met Harold Patchin; who passed away in 2011; her longtime companion. 

Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.

Burial: Will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Hillsboro, ND.
