Barbara Anne West

   Barbara West, 91, of Hope, ND, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND.    Barbara was born October 26, 1927 in Las Angeles, CA to Edward T. and Francis David Bullis. She graduated from high school in Tower City, ND.    Barb married William (Bill) West on October 9, 1946. Together they raised five sons. The couple farmed in the Page, ND area and later moved to Fargo, ND. Barbara and Bill moved to Hope in 1970. While living in Hope, Barb worked at the Hope Locker Plant for 23 years as a meat wrapper.    She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary for 50 years. Barb loved yard work, cooking and baking. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting, but most of all, she loved a house full of company.    Barbara is survived by one son: David (Jody) of Blairsville, GA; daughter-in-law: Cindy West of Hope; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; sister: Velma (William) Hayden of King George, VA; 2 sisters-in-law: Mary (Paul) West and Marilyn (Roy) West; and several nieces and nephews.    She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Bill; 4 sons: William III, Steven, Martin and Don. Visitation:  Will be one hour prior to the service at the American Legion Hall in Hope. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the American Legion Hall in Hope, ND. Burial: Will be in the Hope Cemetery in Hope, ND.
