Allan Henry Holt

   Allan Holt, 89, of Mayville, ND joined his wife in Heaven on April 11, 2022 at Sanford Health in Mayville, ND.

   Allan was born November 18, 1932 to Henry and Ella (Sonstegaard) Holt in Osnabrock, ND. He grew up in Lindaas township, Mayville, ND where he attended country school. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Allan and Joanne (Bird) were united in marriage in August of 1953.

   They farmed and raised 4 children in the Mayville and Hatton communities before retiring to West Fargo. Joanne passed away in October of 2017.

   Allan is survived by his children: Jonal (Bruce) Uglem, Vicky (Dr. Alan) Partin, Tami (John) Woxland and Matthew (Kris) Holt; sisters: Donna Lande and Beverly Kuntz and brother: Dale (Bev) Holt; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, nephews.

   Memorials may be sent to Sun Center (Luther Memorial Home) or the Mayville VFW.

Visitation:  Will be 5–7 PM on Good Friday, April 15, 2022 with a 7:00 PM Public Prayer Service at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial Service: Will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mayville, ND. There will be a reception at the golf course immediately following the church service from 3 to 6 PM.

Military Honors: May~Port Honor Guard and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors.

Burial: Will be in the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, ND.
