Clara Domier

Clara Domier, 95, of Mayville, ND, died Friday, December 3, 2010 at her home in Mayville, ND. Clara was born January 22, 1915 the daughter of Lars and Marie Berglie in Mayville. She attended school in Norway Township near Mayville. On June 28, 1934, she was united in marriage to Arthur Domier in Moorhead, MN. They lived in rural Portland until 1963, when they moved to Mayville. Clara was a member of Perry Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and receiving the CD’s from the Portland Parish which contained the service each Sunday. Clara is survived by her son: Kenneth (Rosalyn) Domier of Portland; son-in-law: Keith Nelson of Mayville; 6 grandchildren: Angela Mehlum, Kevin Nelson, Michael Nelson, Michelle Proell, Kory Domier and Ryan Domier; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Clara was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Arlene Nelson; four sisters: Thora Moen, Magna Haugen, Mina Reynolds and Gudrun Hatling; and three brothers: Alf, Ludvig and Arthur Berglie. Visitation: 5-7 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2010 with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel, Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Perry Lutheran Church, Portland, ND. Interment: Perry Cemetery, Portland, ND.
