H. C. “Bill” Roholt, 83, of Mayville, ND died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Sanford Hospital Palliative Care unit in Fargo, ND, after a two year illness. Bill was born June 3, 1927 in Portland, ND to Christopher and Anna (Tofsly) Roholt. They later moved to Mayville. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1946 and attended Mayville State College for 3 years. He spent a brief time in the air cadets in Texas. On his 24th birthday, he marred Mary Enger of Hatton, ND. Together they had 2 sons, William and Michael. They celebrated 59 years of marriage this summer. Bill was a salesman of cars, trucks and implements both in Mayville, and Fargo. Returning to Mayville in 1971, Bill started his Implement business and still operating at the time of his death. Bill and Mary spent several summers at Golden Lake, Hatton, ND, and over 30 winters in Mesa, AZ. Bill is survived by his wife Mary of Mayville; 2 sons, William of Phoenix, AZ and Michael of Mayville; and two grandchildren, Jesse and Nikki Roholt of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Berna Roholt and Claryce Feiring. Visitation: 4-6 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Baker Funeral Home in Mayville. Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, August 6, 2010 at Mayville Lutheran Church in Mayville. Burial: Mayville City Cemetery, Mayville.
