VernaAnn Gabrielle Johnson

November 10, 2009 — November 10, 2009

VernaAnn Gabrielle Johnson was born on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 4:09 p.m. to parents Ross and Allison Johnson at MeritCare Hospital of Fargo. She weighed 5 pounds, 10.4 ounces and was 18 inches long. VernaAnn's family was blessed with 44 minutes with her, before she went to her heavenly home at 4:53 p.m. VernaAnn experienced holding hands with her many family members, hugs and kisses from her family, and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. There is no footprint too small that it can't leave an imprint in this world. VernaAnn did just that. She touched more people's lives in the short time she had than we wish we could do in our whole lives. VernaAnn is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy and big sisters Faith and Sophia of Mayville, ND; her grandparents Neal and Gaylene Johnson of Cummings, ND and Paul and Nancy Stockton of Portland, ND and Glen Miller of Florida; her great-grandparents Bud and Marian Johnson and Gordon and Theoline Gunderson, all of Mayville; her aunts and uncles, Staci and Ryan Anderson of Bismarck, Karen and Eric Nelson of West Fargo, Mindy and Travis Dale of Youngstown, Ohio and Michael Miller of Florida; her cousins Issac and Olivia Anderson, Logan Nelson, Kain and Haylee Dale; and many other wonderful people. VernaAnn will always remain her parents’ precious baby and Faith and Sophia's little sister, and they will hold her again in heaven one day. She is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents Verna Jean Johnson, Betty Ann Deppa, Donald Clarence Deppa, Drewry Kelso Miller, and Mary Evans Miller; and her Great Uncles Donald Thomas Deppa, Daniel Edward Deppa and Thomas Donald Deppa. Memorials may be made in VernaAnn’s name, to “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep”; or to Riverside Evangelical Free Church to go towards our Sunday School outreach in Guatemala. Visitation: Thursday November 12, from 5:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, at Riverside Evangelical Free Church, Mayville, ND, and one hour prior to the funeral service, at the church. Funeral Service: Friday November 13, at 10:00 am at Riverside Evangelical Free Church, Mayville. Interment: Carlson Cemetery, rural Mayville, ND
