Pauline M. Molvig

Pauline M. Molvig, 92, of Halstad, MN, formerly of Buxton, ND died on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Halstad Living Center in Halstad, MN. Pauline was born on August 5, 1925 to Andrew and Martha (Amundson) Molvig in Buxton, ND. She graduated from Buxton High School in May, 1943 and from Aaker’s Business College, Grand Forks, ND in June, 1944. On June 15, 1944 she started working for a Grand Forks law firm as a legal secretary and bookkeeper. Pauline worked for this same law firm for 46 ½ years, retiring on December 15, 1990. She continued to live in Grand Forks until the 1997 April flood when she moved back to Buxton. Pauline was a member of the Legal Secretaries Association for over 30 years, Sons of Norway: having received her golden membership on November 1, 2005 and the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Buxton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Andrew and Warren. Memorials may be sent to: Immanuel Lutheran Church c/o Immanuel West Cemetery, 222 Pottle Ave. in Buxton, ND 58218. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Buxton, ND. Burial: Will be at the Immanuel Cemetery in Buxton, ND.
