Lawrence "Larry" Capouch

Lawrence J. Capouch, Hatton, N.D. died January 7, 2017 at home. Larry was born September 30, 1945 the son of Joseph and Marie Capouch. He grew up in rural Park River and moved to Grand Forks during grade school and retired in Hatton, N.D. He worked and retired from Allstate Insurance Company. He married Margaret Schimetz in 1974. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching UND hockey. Go Sioux! He is survived by his three children: Michelle Murphy (Jason), Chris Capouch (Jenny), Cathy Haugen (Matthew); grandchildren: Kyle and Tatem Capouch, Adira Haugen; brothers: Richard and Wayne Capouch; sisters: Alice Becker, Evelyn Pede-Fox, Juanita Capouch; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Marie Capouch and his sisters Phyllis and Bertha Capouch. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Hatton, N.D. Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation: Will be from 5–7 PM on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.
