April 21, 1951 — October 10, 2016

Louise (Klocke) Tunseth, age 65, of Mayville died October 10, 2016 at Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Louise was born April 21, 1951 to Louis J. and Ramona (Lies) Klocke in New Rockford, ND. She attended school in New Rockford and Sykeston before graduating from Fessenden High School in 1969. She went on to attend Mayville State College, graduating with a degree in business administration in 1975. While attending MSC she met Wayne Tunseth, and they married in 1975. They lived in and raised their three children in Mayville, except 1986-1988 when the family lived in Harvey, ND. Louise worked at several businesses, including in-home daycare, Union Hospital, Red Owl, and bartending in Mayville, and Coast-to-Coast in Harvey. In 1988 she began working at Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, where she stayed until her retirement in 2014. While there, she did a variety of jobs and touched the lives of many residents and co-workers. She brought a great sense of humor and sass to every job she did. Louise was also extremely creative. At any given time, she had several craft projects in the works including calligraphy, photography, cross-stitch, scrapbooking, and quilting. She was also the best cook around, known for a number of special dishes requested by family and friends for get-togethers. Her creativity was never more evident than in the celebration of her favorite holiday, Halloween. Her house was a favorite stop for kids and adults alike. She was well-known as “The Witch” of Mayville. In the last several years, Louise was an avid camper, spending much quality time with her family at various campgrounds in ND, SD, and MN. Her dogs Toby and Buster accompanied her on many journeys, camping and otherwise. She loved spending time with family and friends, whether in-person or connecting via the internet. She was also a member of the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Louise is survived by her mother, Ramona Klocke of Fessenden, ND; Children: Christine (Lamar Noriega) Tunseth, Aurora, CO; Kathryn Tunseth, Fargo, ND; Daniel Tunseth, Springville, UT; Grandchildren: Bailee (Jordan Brenneman) Noriega, Minneapolis, MN and Zach Noriega, Fargo; Brothers: Louis A.
