Gayle Ann Fredericksen

July 10, 1944 — June 15, 2009

Gayle Ann Fredericksen, 64, of Page, ND, died peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND. Gayle was born on July 10, 1944 in Williston, ND to Vern and Mabel (Nesheim) Fredericksen. She left there as a teenager and moved to Spokane, WA where she grew up and got married. She was raising her three sons when she decided to become a nurse. She graduated from Gonzaga University and was an oncology nurse at several hospitals in the Spokane area. She moved to ND in 1990 and worked at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, home health care, Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND, and Good Samaritan Home in Arthur, ND, before having to quit, due to her illness. Gayle enjoyed visiting and taking care of the patients and residents where she worked. She will be missed by her many friends, co-workers, and family. God Bless her. Gayle is survived by three sons, Eric (Sue) O’Donnell of Tacoma, WA, Johny (Tracy) O’Donnell of Fayetteville, NC, and Steve (Elizabeth) O’Donnell of Everett, WA; five grandchildren; two brothers, Ken (Ora) Fredericksen of Epping, ND, and Les (Bernie) Fredericksen of Spokane, WA; two sisters, Betty (Don) Christopherson of Epping, ND and Donna Meek of Williston, ND; a special friend who was engaged to her for almost 20 years, Larry Langdahl of Page; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Larry and David Fredericksen. Funeral Service: Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 2:00PM at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page, ND. Visitation: Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 5-7PM at the Lindsey-Carlson Funeral Home in Page, and one hour prior to the funeral service, at the church.
