Ronald V. Kyllo, 80, Galesburg, ND died Sunday May 29 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo. Ronald was born June 4, 1935 to Edwin and Bernice (Nelson) at Mayville, ND. He was baptized and confirmed at Stordahl Lutheran Church. In 1954, Ronald graduated from Mayville High School at Mayville, ND. He then served in the Army and was a Korean War veteran, stationed in Germany. In 1957 he married Ilene Kyllo (Hochgraber) of Galesburg at Elm River Lutheran Church. Together they farmed in the Galesburg area until retiring in 2002 and moving to Galesburg. Ronald loved sports, especially baseball, and was a diehard Minnesota Twins fan. He greatly enjoyed watching his children and grand children participate in sports. Ronald also enjoyed pinochle and whist or just visiting with his many friends. He also loved farming and John Deere tractors. He is survived by wife Ilene, Galesburg, ND; sons Karry (Pam) East Grand Forks, MN, Kelly (Kay), Grandin, ND, Korey (Amy) Casselton, ND and Kirby (Angie) West Fargo, ND and daughters Suzanne (Frank) Schlauderaff, Hankinson, ND and Denora (Dar) Haugaard, Hope, ND, 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Bernie (Francis), Bismarck, ND, and sisters Darlene (Howard) Rensvold and Bonita (Gary) Erickson both of Fargo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Bernice, his brother and wife, Harvey (Sylvia), and a granddaughter, Megan Kyllo. Visitation: Will be from 5–7 PM with a 6:30 PM Public Prayer Service on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Elm River Luther Church and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Elm River Lutheran Church in Galesburg, ND. Military Honors: SB Aasen Post 210 of Galesburg, ND and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Burial: Will be at the Stordahl Cemetery in Galesburg, ND.
