Randolph L. Smith

Randolph Smith, 68, of Mayville, ND, referred to as Randy by family and friends passed away after battling a long illness on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. He loved antiques, music, reading and playing the trumpet. He also became an ordained minister and loved God and serving others. He is survived by two brothers: Pete Smith and Charles Smith as well as seven children: Joseph Charles Cantore, John Layfeyette Cantore, Jeremy Wayne Cantore, Jennifer Lynn Bowers, Jerrold Ross Cantore, Jamie Lawrance Cantore and Tariqa Dawn Cantrell. Randy was also a proud grandfather of several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Randy had a mother, father, sister, and brother who have preceded him in death. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND. Burial: Will be at the Elm River Cemetery in Galesburg, ND.
