Stephen Karl Eastvold

Stephen Karl Eastvold, 63, entered his heavenly home on January 19, 2016 at his home in Portland. Steve was born on May 28, 1952 in Mayville, ND to Orlo and Delores (Stenerson) Eastvold. He lived most of his life in Mayville and Portland, where he farmed and worked for various farmers in the area. Steve spent some time in Fargo, ND where he was in the insurance business and for a while in Mesa, AZ, Richardson, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Sheridan, WY and Kansas City, MO. He drove a taxi cab and visited the “flea markets”. Steve is preceded in death by his parents He is survived by one sister: Ann Marie Morton of Richardson, TX; one brother: Thomas Eastvold of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are two nieces: Kirsten Eastvold Hanson of Scottsdale, AZ and Lori Morton Johnson of Keller, TX; four nephews: Tim Morton of Bedford, TX, Mark Morton of Albuquerque, NM, Scott Kroeplin of Mayville, ND and Lee Kroeplin of Grand Forks, ND; and many cousins. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Mayville Lutheran Church in Mayville, ND.
