Patricia Louise Nelson, 85, of Page, ND died Friday September 4, 2015 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Patricia was the daughter of Floyd and Wilma (Law) Kent and was born on April 6th, 1930 in Pillsbury. She moved to Luverne then later to Page where she attended school. In her earlier years she worked as a "soda jerk" at Dunnum's Drug Store in Page. She married Dewey Nelson on December 30th, 1948 in Moorhead Minnesota. Patricia's life journey was her family. The smell of fresh baked buns was a given on Thursdays. She had a green thumb which produced many gorgeous plants including cacti. Patricia's favorite activities were fishing, camping, crocheting, and reading. One of her favorite memories was catching and eighteen pound northern at lake Ashtabala, and out fishing the men most of the time. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, The American Legion Auxiliary, The Walden Home Makers, and Page School Mothers. Patricia was survived by six children: Cary (Martha) Nelson of Page, Lonnie (Wally) Thorson of Crookston, MN, Vaughn Nelson of Page, Jay (Lori) Nelson of Minot, ND, Jill (Todd) Unterseher of Bismarck, ND, and Todd (Joni) Nelson of Chanhassen, MN. She has fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Wanda (Mick) Holm of Lake Park, MN and Candy (Dick) Zaun of Valley City, ND; one brother: Steve (Gloria) Kent of West Fargo, ND and two sisters-in-law: Barb Kent of Duluth, MN and Vivian Kent of Park Rapids, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers: Leslie, Dennis, Ronald; and her sister: Loramae. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the funeral service at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page, ND. Memorial Service: 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Page, ND. Burial: Will be at the Page Cemetery, Page, ND.
