Marion L. Kyllo

Marion L. Kyllo, 87, of Mayville, ND died on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Marion Lorraine Reinhart was born December 9, 1927 in Grand Forks, ND to William and Evelyn (Ogilvie) Reinhart. The family resided in Mayville, ND. Marion graduated from Mayville High School in 1945 and attended 1 year at Mayville State College. On July 17, 1946 she married Gerald Sidney Kyllo at Crookston, MN. Together, they farmed in the Hunter/Galesburg area, retiring in 1992. They then made their home between the farm at Hunter and condominiums in Fargo, ND and later West Fargo, ND. She moved to Touchmark at Harwood Groves in Fargo in February, 2013 and to Luther Memorial Home, Mayville in February, 2014. Marion was an active member of Stordahl Lutheran Church, rural Galesburg, ND. She volunteered at Luther Memorial Home and was a member of Homemaker’s Club and Birthday Bunch of Galesburg. She participated in the Silver Follies, Fargo, from 1995 – 2002. When Gerald died on September 25, 2008 many hearts were broken, but now 2 loving hearts are reunited again, with Christ forever. Marion’s final gift was the continued love shown to those who adored her most … her daughters: Helen (Sheridan) Breding, West Fargo, ND and Geri (Jeff) Voltz, Galesburg, ND; grandchildren: Laura Bertzyk, Rodney (Amy) Bertzyk, Tanya Bertzyk, Amy (Richard) Paul, Jason (Jeanette) Breding, Kimberly (Joel) Olson and great grandchildren: Alissa Johnson, Samantha Teschendorf, Sydney Ackerson, Gracelyn Paul, Abigail Breding, Bethany Breding, Caleb Breding, Raelynn Olson, Blakely Olson; two step-great grandchildren: Gillian and Ian (Lura) Bertzyk. Marion is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her eldest daughter: Evelyn Bertzyk. Funeral attendees are encouraged to wear a favorite hat to the service in honor of Marion. Visitation: Will be 5 – 7 PM with a 7 PM Public Prayer Service on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel, in Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.. Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Stordahl Lutheran Church in Galesburg, ND. Burial: Will be at the Stordahl Cemetery, Galesburg, ND.
