JULIE WENTZ

April 6, 1957 — February 14, 2015

JULIE WENTZ Julie Ann Wentz, 57, of Mayville, North Dakota passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2015. Julie was born on April 6, 1957, to Carol and Wallace Edinger in New Rockford, North Dakota. She attended New Rockford High School and went on to graduate from Mayville State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Music. After graduating from college, she taught elementary school in Bagley, Minnesota, East Grand Forks, Minnesota and later in Dallas, Texas. During her time in Dallas, Julie also pursued many interests that ranged from being a radio voice-over talent to working in commercial real estate. Later in life, she became a licensed reflexologist. And most recently, she worked as the advertising director for the area newspaper. Julie was blessed with a beautiful voice. As both a singer and a pianist, she performed at numerous special occasions throughout her life. She also had a love of horses that started when she was a young girl growing up on the family farm near New Rockford, North Dakota. In 1999, Julie and her son, Zachary, relocated from Dallas, Texas to Mayville where she dedicated herself to raising Zach, who was the light of her life. Julie is survived by her son, Zachary who attends Minnesota State University Moorhead, her mother, Carol Edinger of New Rockford, North Dakota, her sister, Jackie Edinger, and significant other, Wade Nelson and her brother, Jim Edinger and his wife Becky and niece and nephew Preston and Hannah all of Mayville, ND. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Edinger. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Mayville Lutheran Church, Mayville, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 till 7:00 in The Baker Funeral Home and one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be on Wednesday at 7:00 in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mayville Cemetery.
