Joseph Adam Roller

Joseph Roller, 87, formerly of Clifford, ND died on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Edgewood Vista, Fargo. He was born on January 11, 1927 in Dickinson, ND to Joseph B. and Mary A. (Kubischta) Roller. He attended rural school near Clifford, ND, and spent his life farming with his brother Nicholas, until retiring. Joe enjoyed gardening and loved playing pinochle with family & friends. Joe enjoyed serving on the Edendale Township Board, Clifco Ethanol Board, Clifford Elevator Board and was a member of St. Agatha’s Church in Hope, ND for 60 years. He was a very special Uncle to Nick and Delores’ children and families, Rose Mary (Brad) Ulland of Park River, William (Judy) Erbstoesser of Clifford, Margie Zietz of Burlington and Julie (Tim) Schnabel of Fargo. Joseph is survived by his brothers, Nicholas (Delores) Roller of Fargo and Theodore (Toni) Roller of Espanola, NM; sister Pauline Haagenson of Auburn, WA as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers: Anton Roller, Emma Heiser, Louie Roller, Josephine Roller, Adolph Roller, Valentine Roller, Rose Armbrust, Jacob Roller, Ludwig Roller, Robert Roller and Cecelia Warner. Visitation: Will be from 9:30 – 11 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the St. Agatha’s Catholic Church in Hope, ND. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the St. Agatha’s Catholic Church in Hope, ND. Burial: Will be at the Hope Cemetery, Hope, ND.
