Levone George Domier

Levone George Domier, 64, of Portland, ND, passed away Wednesday, March 19th, 2014 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.            Levone was born on October 15, 1949 to George and Marion (Sletten) Domier in Mayville, ND. He grew up on the family farm outside of Portland, ND, where he eventually built his home. On November 18th, 1977, he married Sharon DuBois of Walhalla, ND, and then started their family. He worked on the farm with his father, George, until his retirement in 2001. Levone was a man who liked to make friends wherever he went, and was very good at being there for the people most dear to him. Throughout his life, he had many adventures but still found time for his favorite hobbies, which included hunting, fishing, visiting with friends, telling great stories and holding his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by the people that love him.            He is survived by his wife, Sharon; Daughter: Jill (Jerry) Harrison, Eagan, MN; Sons: Michael Domier, Mayville, ND and Erik (Kayla) Domier, Hatton, ND; Grandchildren: Liam Henry Harrison and Trinity Addison Domier; Mother: Marion, Mayville, ND; Sisters: Janice Love, West Fargo, ND and Sandra Olson, Sisseton, SD; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father, George Domier, and sister, Gloria Viken. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Memorial Service: 3:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2014 at Luther Memorial Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.
