Marjorie M. Schoeppach

Marjorie M. Schoeppach, 93, of Arthur, ND, formerly of Page, ND, died Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Arthur, ND. She was born January 4, 1920 in Colgate, ND, the daughter of Henry and Ida (Erickson) Reisenburg. She graduated from Colgate High School in 1938. On May 17, 1941 she married Myril Schoeppach in Page and they had three children; Duane, John and Roger. When Myril returned from the war, the couple moved from Colgate to Hope, ND and lived there until their boys graduated from high school. Then they moved to Page. It was here that Marjorie got a job as the breakfast cook at the Page High School. She was the cook for 23 years. Marjorie enjoyed every day and said the kids kept her young. Marjorie enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and having tea with her neighbors and friends. She also enjoyed playing the piano and working in the Methodist Church. Her positive attitude, great sense of humor and the twinkle in her eyes will be missed by all those who loved her and cared for her. Marjorie is survived by her three sons: Duane (Pat) of Bothell, WA, John of Rockford, IL, and Roger of Clinton, OK; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; her sister: Phyllis (Gordon) Bacon of Goshen, IN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Myril, of 58 years and her brothers: Marvin and Wes Reisenburg. Memorials may be sent to the Good Samaritan Society in Arthur, ND or to Hospice of the Red River Valley. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the funeral service in the church. Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Monday, July 29, 2013 at the United Methodist Church, Page, ND. Burial: Hope Cemetery, Hope, ND.
