Evelyn Marjorie Satrom

Evelyn M. Satrom, 96, of Fargo, ND formerly of Page, ND, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Bethany on University in Fargo. Evelyn was born February 25, 1917 to George and Luella (Mullaney) LaVoie at Page, ND. She grew up and attended school in Page. On October 21, 1935 she married Raymond Carlson and together they raised 3 daughters. Evelyn worked at 3 grocery stores in Page over the years. Raymond died in 1971. On February 26, 1972 she married Owen Satrom; he died in 1990. Evelyn moved to Bethany on University in 2006. Evelyn was active in Royal Neighbors and Christian Mothers for many years. She enjoyed reading, doing word search puzzles, was a great cook, and loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by 2 daughters, Darlyne (Durran) Unger of Fargo and Dixie (Dick) Kimble of Usk, WA; 2 sisters, Millie Dresher of Minneapolis, MN and Patricia LeClercq of San Dimas, CA; 7 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Raymond; her second husband, Owen; and her daughter, Diane Milbrandt. Funeral Service: 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Bethany on University with visitation and rosary starting at 2:00 PM. Burial: 5:30 PM at Page City Cemetery, Page, ND.
