Lynda Lea Matthews

Lynda Lea Matthews, 51, of Mayville ND, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home in Mayville. She was born November 30, 1961 in Montebello, California to James and Chere (Ledesma) Matthews III. She attended school in St. Charles, Missouri. She married Robert King in 1980. Lynda worked as a C.N.A. and had various other employments. Lynda was a very loving person and made friends easily. She loved to visit, read, watch TV and help others by listening. She is survived by a special dear friend: Michael Minnehan of CA; brothers: Jeffery (Susie) Matthews of Missouri and James Michael Matthews of Florida; daughter: Crystal Barstad of Minnesota; son: James (Jessica) King of Minnesota; 7 grandchildren; special friend: Renee Kyser of North Dakota; step-mother: Liz Matthews of North Dakota; step-brothers: Tim Heskin of Florida , Shayne Heskin of Missouri and Raymond Heskin of Florida. Lynda is preceded in death by her son: Christopher Edelen; parents; and husband. Graveside Service: 4:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Bruflat Lutheran Cemetery in Portland, ND.
