Sandra Lou Sundeen

Sandra L. Sundeen, 56, of Mayville, ND, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at her home in Mayville. Sandra was born on June 9, 1951 at Burke, SD, to Gerhardt and Helen Stahlecker. She grew up in Pierre, SD and graduated from Theodore F. Riggs High School. In the late 1960’s she moved to Grand Forks, ND. Sandra then married Truman Sundeen, and together they had three children. They traveled the US with the kids before moving to Cummings, ND. Sandra later moved to Mayville where she was currently residing. Sandra loved all animals. She was always understanding when the kids would bring home a stray. She also enjoyed turtles, and had a turtle collection. She is survived by her three children, Tayren Sundeen, Trexa (Shaun Briggs) Sundeen, with future grandchild, and Thuran (Kelsey Foerster) Sundeen, all of Grand Forks, ND; mother, Helen Stahlecker of Pierre, SD; siblings, Garry Stahlecker, Shirley Garrigan, Dennis (Connie) Stahlecker, Norman (Sandy) Stahlecker, and Patricia (Dennis) Fuchs, all of Pierre, SD. She was preceded in death by her father Gerhardt. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND.
