William "Bill" W. Beavers

William “Bill” Wayne Beavers, 54, of Buxton, ND died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND with his wife and family by his side. William was born August 9, 1957 in Florida, the son of Byron and Vera (Holland) Beavers. Bill was a hard working potato-man, having been employed for NoKota Packers in Buxton, for the past 18 years. It was there he met the love of his life, Brenda Robinson. They were married on June 28, 2003 in Buxton. Bill was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and loved car racing. Bill and Brenda could be found every Friday night at the River City Speedway in Grand Forks, ND. Having worked at NoKota Packers for so many years, his coworkers became family to him. Bill’s favorite saying was “It is what it is.” Bill is survived by his wife, Brenda of Buxton; mother-in-law, Eunice Robinson of East Grand Forks, MN; special niece, Kim Sayler of Mayville, ND who has been by his side every step of the way. He is also survived by 6 sisters, Mary (Garfield) Chitwood of Cleveland, AL, Iva (Henry) Shelton of Cleveland, AL, Betty Hubbard of Tarrant, AL, Ruth White of Mississippi, Betsy (Joe) Koenig of Tomah, WI and Carol West of Winder, GA; his two dogs, Chico and Chloe; his best friends, Justin, who had become his “little brother” and Curt, who became his “big brother.” He is preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Vera (Holland) Beavers; sister, Juanita Serrano; brother, Joseph “Bud” Robert Beavers; nephew, Luis Serrano and his father-in-law, James Robinson. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff on the 3rd and 7th floor of Sanford Hospital in Fargo and to his extended family: NoKota Packers, for all the support and caring they have showed during this time of sorrow. Brenda would like to say “Thank You” to Rita, Pat, Roberta and most especially, Tim “the boss.” Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville, ND. Visitation: Will be from 5–8 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Baker Funeral Home, Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
