Janice Faye Lipsiea

Janice Lipsiea, 63, of Mayville, ND, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at her home. Janice was born April 5, 1948 to John and Myrtle (Gunderson) Huus in Northwood, ND. She graduated in 1966 from Hatton High School. In the late 1970’s she started working at American Crystal Sugar in Hillsboro, ND. Janice retired after 25 years in the payroll department. Janice married Mark Lipsiea on March 24, 1990 in Mayville where the couple made their home. One of Janice’s favorite things was cooking. She also enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was known for being very friendly, outgoing and had a bubbly personality. She loved her family more than anything! Janice is survived by her husband, Mark of Mayville; son, Loren (Tammy) Lillemoen of Mayville; 3 grandchildren, Kelesy, David and Courtny; brother, Don (Pat) Huus of Hatton; and 2 sisters, Joyce (James) Pladson of Hatton and Virginia Ovrid of Heartford, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Delores Myron. Visitation: 5-7 PM Monday, September 5, 2011 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, Mayville, ND and will resume one hour prior to the funeral service, at the church. Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Mayville Lutheran Church, Mayville, ND. Interment: Mayville City Cemetery, Mayville, ND.
