Frida M Stockmoe

Frida M. Stockmoe 96, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Villa Maria in Fargo. Frida was born September 27, 1914 to Hans and Bertha (Tvito) Ege in Blanchard Township, Traill County, ND. She attended grade school in Blanchard and graduated from Mayville High School. She was confirmed at Elm River Lutheran Church in Galesburg, ND. On May 3, 1934 she married Harold Stockmoe making their home in near Clifford, ND. Together they had two children. Harold died in 1976. Frida moved to the Heritage apartments in Fargo in 1998. Frida was an active member of the Norman Lutheran Church Ladies Aid and was an American Legion Auxiliary member for 68 years. She was an avid MN Twins fan, and MN Timberwolves fan. Frida is survived by her grandchildren, Donna (Kent) Burda of Twin Valley, MN, Gary (Gail) Bratholt of Dilworth, MN, Dale Bratholt of Fargo, Scott (Joy) Stockmoe of Alexandria, MN, Susan Gilbertson of Las Vegas, NV, and Stu (Sheri) Stockmoe of Fargo; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; 2 children, Beverly Bratholt-Lehman and Harris (Arlene) Stockmoe; 1 grandchild, Dwight Bratholt; siblings, Sam Ege, Helen Bahl, Kima Berg, Jordan Ege, and Lynn Ege; and infant siblings, Carsten Ege and Ada Ege. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Norman Lutheran Church Clifford, ND, with visitation to begin at 9:00 AM at the church. Burial: Clifford Cemetery, Clifford, ND.
