Lynn Everett Ege

Lynn E. Ege, 81, of Blanchard, ND, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at his home with care by Hospice of the Red River Valley. He was born on May 18, 1926, near Blanchard, the son of Hans and Bertha (Tvieto) Ege. Lynn attended country school and graduated from the Clifford High School. After his schooling, he worked on the family farm near Blanchard. On January 4, 1964 he married Patricia Ann Johnson in Fargo, ND. After their marriage, the couple resided on the Ege family farm, where they continued to farm until 1980. At this time, Lynn started working for American Crystal Sugar Company of Hillsboro, ND. Illness forced retirement in January of 2007. Lynn is survived by one daughter, Terri (Paul) Weixel of Colorado Springs, CO; two sons, Jordan (Karen) Ege of Fargo and Peter Ege of Boulder, CO; two step-sons, Lonny Hanson and Jeff Hanson both of Fargo, ND; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Frida Stockmoe of Fargo and Helen Bahl of Mayville, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Pat on December 25, 1998; one sister Kima Berg and two brothers, Sam and Jordan Ege. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Norman Lutheran Church, Clifford, ND. VISITATION: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 5-7 PM at Baker Funeral Home, Mayville, ND and one hour prior to the service at the church. BURIAL: Clifford Cemetery, Clifford, ND.
